Distributing ¥6 million to local organizations

On Nov 12, 2019, representatives from 18 charitable organizations from the Nagoya/Aichi area visited Nagoya International School (NIS) to receive their donations from the 2019 Walkathon Committee in a ceremony hosted by NIS Grade 10 JNL students.

In collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) Chubu Chapter and the NIS, this year the Walkathon Committee was able to distribute ¥6,000,000 to local organizations in support of their great work.

The Walkathon is a wonderful opportunity for students to get involved in the community and learn more about the many organizations supporting those in need in the Nagoya Region. We sincerely appreciate the work that these organizations do for a wide variety of causes in the region, and for involving students!
