Your Organization Can Make a Difference!
This year, the Walkathon celebrates 30 illustrious years of giving back to the community we call home. For the 30th Anniversary, we again face the challenge of going on with the event in these unprecedented times of having to social distance and remain safe. But, that has us even more determined to not give up on our goal to raise money for the many small organizations making a huge impact in our community.
These organizations support orphans with scholarships for brighter futures, victims of child abuse to find safety, the physically or emotionally challenged to have comfort, educational, and vocation opportunities, and supporting people coping with illnesses like cancer, among others.
While it is always so rewarding to help so many community members every year, it is a challenge to keep up with the increase in those who need our help. At the same time, we realize that our long-standing and potential new donors are also significantly impacted by the global pandemic. Still, we believe that together, we can strive to make an even more significant difference in people's lives this year and bring smiles to more faces than ever before.
Indeed, not despite, but because of these challenging times, we realize we must dig in and do more. We hope you are with us at any level you can participate.
We need everyone to do their part!
