30th Annual Chubu Walkathon T-Shirt Design

We have a winner!

After a close vote held online through the official Chubu Walkathon website, we are proud to announce the Walkathon T-shirt Design Contest winner!

Well, actually make that plural since they are a dynamic sister-brother team from Grade 5 and Grade 3 at Nagoya International School! They captured the community with their colorful "30" in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the event, to be held on May 23rd.


Make no mistake, it was a tough competition this year, but their design was very clever! It depicts all the animals of the zodiac calendar sporting masks(!) with the cow (representing this year) as the prominent character.


You can get your T-shirt by joining the Walkathon on May 23rd or ordering one for a small donation.

Two Nagoya craft breweries - Hyappa Brews and Tallboys Brewing - are producing special beers to support local charities. ¥100 from every beer sold will be donated to organizations serving children in need throughout the community.
