Leading the Team at the Reception Desk
Yosuke and Ryota each found the Walkathon independently and both have been volunteering at the Walkathon since 2023.
Assigned to Reception and Information Desk they do a super job at leading the team of volunteers assigned to reception. In addition to being well organized, they are super "genki" and can always be seen smiling as they lead the team!

From the 32nd Walkathon in 2023.
Reason for participating in the Walkathon:
I happened to come across the Walkathon event while running in Meijo Park, and I was interested so I contacted the organizers.
Message for future participants:
I had never volunteered before, and I had never communicated with foreigners. I think this is a great opportunity to interact with a wide range of ages, from young to old, without hesitation, and to try something new. It may seem like a big hurdle to contact them at first, but once you do that, everyone is very welcoming.
