Supporting Make-A-Wish® Japan

Thank You for Supporting the 2026 Walkathon and our NIS walkers!


Your donation supports the NIS Gr 1-4 Walkers who are raising funds for "Make-A-Wish®". Make-A-Wish was established with the hope of granting the dreams of children between the ages of 3 and 18 who are battling serious illnesses, and giving them the strength to live and the courage to fight their illnesses.


And of course, you are welcome to come join us at the event to cheer on participants, explore a variety of activities, and enjoy a fantastic community day out!

Your Donations Make Wishes Come True

Please use the form below to donate in advance (¥1,000 or more) to support your NIS Walker for walking in the Walkathon this year. If you wish to donate more, or more for more laps around the park, please ensure that your student walker promises to walk the additional lap! Students will be given a sheet to collect stamps along the course to verify each lap walked.

Note on the Walk:

Each Gr. 1-4 student can choose to walk 1, 2, or 3 laps maximum around the course. Students should tell their donor how many laps they plan to walk - and they should try their best to stick to that promise!

The walk course is about 1 km long, and will take about 20 minutes to walk around once.

Teachers will be on hand to walk with the students for one lap; parents are invited (encouraged!) to join us for the walk as well!

Two Nagoya craft breweries - Hyappa Brews and Tallboys Brewing - are producing special beers to support local charities. ¥100 from every beer sold will be donated to organizations serving children in need throughout the community.
